How to Use & Calibrate
- Prepare the Device: Ensure the thermometer has fresh batteries and has been sitting in the testing environment for at least 10 minutes to acclimate.
- Clean Forehead: Make sure the subject’s forehead is clean, dry, and free of hair or sweat.
- Measure: Hold the device perpendicular to the forehead at the manufacturer's recommended distance (approx. 1.2 to 2 inches) and press the trigger.
- Switch Settings: Use the built-in mode buttons to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit, or to switch between Body and Surface reading modes
