Indication/uses\nProhphylaxis and treatment of the intestinal and muco-cutaneous side-effects induced by antibiotic therapy: diarrhoea, colitis, candidates.\nNon-specific diarrhoea.\nColitis, enterocolitis\nPrevention of diarrhoea during continuous enteral feeding\nSuitable for use in infants, children, adults and in the elderly.\nDosage and administration\nOne to two sachets twice daily or as directed by the physician.\nDirection for use\nShould be administered orally, directly or mixed with water or beverage. It will not dissolve. Consume as such. Do not mix in very cold or hot liquid.\nThe principle modes of action of Saccharomyces bouldardii in the prevention and treatment of diarrhoeal syndromes are:\nInhibition of pathogenic effects of certain micro-organisms and /or their toxins especially Clostridium difficile, principal causative organism of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, and Vibrio cholerae, typical of the toxin producing bacteria responsible for secretory diarrhoea.
